'GOOD YOM TOV!' (HAPPY HOLIDAY!) is a labor of love.
I originally conceived and created it for a final project at NYU in 1998 in Macromedia's [now defunct] Director software, and have now rebuilt it in Flash so that it is viewable on-line! (You will need Adobe's FREE Flash player to see it: www.adobe.com/downloads/). This is Passover for the young and young-at-heart, for families of mixed marriages, and for those who wish to carry on traditions without a heavy hand.It was created by repurposing material from 'A Children's Haggadah', text by Howard I. Bogot and Robert J. Orkand, illustrated and designed by Devis Grebu, from the Central Conference of Rabbis in New York, a favorite Haggadah used by my father for many years when his grandchildren were little.
The music is from 'In The Fiddler's House', featuring Itzhak Perlman, with Brave Young World, The Klezmatics, The Andy Statman Klezmer Orchestra, and the Klezmer Conservatory Band, EMI Records Ltd.
The voiceovers are by my son Joshua, who was 9 at the time, and me, with a small contribution at the beginning from my son Evan, who was 4. I could never have done this project without the support of my huband, Erik, who made all things possible.
